How God Solves a Problem

When we are faced with a difficult problem, we have two options on how to solve it: we solve it ourselves or we let God.

If we try to solve a problem ourselves, we have to work within our limits and abilities. Whatever our problems are – financial lack, illnesses and diseases, infertility, ruined relationships, addictions – our solutions are limited by our human powers and understanding. We can’t create something out of nothing. We have no powers to heal. We can’t make that problem disappear. We can’t control other people’s reactions, and we have no say about the future. We can solve that problem, yes, but our solutions are always limited.

For instance, we “solve” cancer by surgeries, therapies or healthy living. There is nothing wrong with any of those solutions, but they are so limited. We can’t cure cancer, heal it or make it entirely disappear from our future.

But GOD.

Jesus our Lord God is not limited by time, space or matter. He can create entire universes out of nothing; he can command nature to obey Him. He can walk on water, feed 5000 from a handful of loaves and fish, heal the sick, cast out demons, and raise people from the dead. He can change the most sinful of men to become powerful witnesses of His love and grace. He can transform families, communities and cities to become avenues for the good of others.

His ways are higher than our ways, and His resources are limitless. His power is best displayed in your weakness. His love for us never ends and never falters. AND – He can forgive your sins and wipe them out from His memory.

When God solves a problem, it is totally solved.

Reflect on This:
When you are faced with a problem, who do you trust – yourself or God? Faith is being confident in the One you cannot see, but One whose ways are higher than yours.

Take This To Heart:
Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for GOD’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all.
Run to GOD! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life!
