WELCOME TO RIVER OF GOD!

We are so glad you decided to visit River of God!

We are a church where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community and find a place to belong. We want people to have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God’s glory.

If there’s anything you need, please feel free to ask our Connect Coaches in the lobby or find one of our pastors walking around. We pray you leave incredibly blessed and forever marked by the love of the Father.

Blessings from Pastors Mike and Grace

PLAN YOUR VISIT

We believe that revival is breaking out all over the world, and we are preparing a people ready to partner with God to make His presence known so that lives are changed and cities are transformed. One encounter changes everything!

So at River of God, we make room for His presence. We are not in a hurry to move on to the next thing, and our Sunday service only loosely follows a program, be it in singing, dance, teaching, giving, celebrations and kids’ program. But we have a focus in everything we do: We worship Jesus and passionately surrender to the Holy Spirit.

After Service

We invite you to stay after service, and chat as long as you’d like. We have coffee, treats and more often than not, share lunch! Our pastors would love to get to know you more, so you will see them walking around and meeting people. We also have a ministry team who wants to bless you and pray with you.

COMMUNITY

Sunday School

We believe that families who worship together get to see God move across generations, so our children love worshiping with everyone. We let them sing, dance, play and move around freely in the sanctuary under the loving eyes of their parents and guardians.

After the worship, Children are ushered to their Sunday school classes where we use a Spirit-empowered curriculum that lays life-long Biblical foundations.

Students and Young Adults

Our students and young adults also join us in the sanctuary. You might also see them serve in the media, worship and other teams! They love hanging around and serving each other and with adults.

On Friday nights, they meet in various local members’ homes for worship, fun, and life-changing teachings on purity and the power of the Gospel. Open to students (ages 13 to 18) and young adults (ages 18 to 25). Contact us for the address.

Small Groups

The best way to grow in Christ is with a community who deeply cares for one another.  We have home groups that meet during the weeknights for growth, discipleship and community through prayer, Bible study and fellowship. Home groups are currently going through Kingdom Culture: Living the Values that Disciple Nations by Dann Farrelly.
