But, God…

One of my favorite chapters in the Bible starts off with bad news and continues on to good news. God IS GOOD NEWS.

Psalm 36 begins with “I have a message from God in my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked: There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

God sends a message of warning and speaks into our conscience that rebellions man is wicked to his core. Though some have more evil acts than others, and many are guilty of sins that are easily hidden and covered up, yet all of us stand guilty of rebellion and wickedness before God. Ever since the first man fell into sin, the intentions of every person are wicked and selfish, no matter how well-meaning it may be.

But there is GOOD NEWS!

Psalm 36 continues with… “But you, O LORD, your love is limitless and reaches higher than the highest heavens!” God’s faithfulness is so infinite, His righteousness is unmovable and his justice is full of wisdom. He will not leave us to our own damnation, and He leaves no one forgotten. He is extravagant in his love, and there is no one who loves like God. His is love perfect, and covers over all sin! His grace is more than enough. Every morning you wake up, His mercies for you are new and fresh. You can count on Him.

Be forever grateful of His perfect love for you. Let your heart go out to those who don’t know there is salvation and good news available for everyone. There is hope even for the worst of sinner.

In a world that’s full of darkness, chaos and sin, we are the bearers of the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We live our lives in such a way that people will know we bring good news and glad tidings. Let’s go and share this GOOD NEWS!

But God is rich in mercy, and he loved us very much. We were spiritually dead because of all we had done against him. But he gave us new life together with Christ. You have been saved by God’s grace… God did this so that his kindness to us who belong to Christ Jesus would clearly show for all time to come the amazing richness of his grace.
