A BURNING LEGACY

Being discipled by Pastor Mike and Pastor Grace is one of life’s greatest blessings. In this 19 year span, we have seen and felt the love given, time spent, tears wept, persecution endured and persistent prayers lifted up to heaven for us and ROL’s youth ministry. They’ve demonstrated how to pursue God relentlessly even when it doesn’t make sense to the world. When asked why, they’ve always answered “Cause It’s not about you! It’s always about Him!” (a Kuya Mikeism). When they left Baltimore to take on the ministry in Rockville- It was one of those acts of wholehearted surrender to God’s will that amazed our Baltimore church. To let go of the established ministry that God has built through them and take on a new ministry, uprooting their family from Baltimore to a new town was no easy task. But we saw the FIRE in their eyes as they looked straight at the Father and said YES to His will. We felt their hearts burning for the Rockville church, and knew that the Holy Spirit was UPON them to go.  For this reason, we are utterly and incredibly grateful for their obedience and we see the fruit of what God has done in River of God Church!!! Everytime we meet or talk on the phone, they are beaming ear to ear testifying of God’s goodness towards this church! Glory to God! When they passed on the baton of the youth ministry to us, we knew it was a GOD MOVE. They not only handed to us the ministry they’ve invested most of their lives in, but they also passed on the mantle of unrelenting pursuit and the boldness to say YES to the Father. That is the legacy of our youth ministry- Infinite Youth! Hallelujah!

THE NEW JESUS MOVEMENT

We are so excited for what the Lord is doing in our midst! We at Infinite Youth believe that we are the beginning of a new JESUS MOVEMENT. This call is not only for the young people, but everyone alive at this point in history- crossing every age group and forming one united generation that will take Jesus to every corner of the world!

IT’S FUEGO TIME! FIRE LORD!

One of our young people, Channy Delmonte, loves the phrase “It’s fuego time!” and it is just so timely for what God is doing today. John the baptist declared,  “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world“ and “He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” (Matthew 3:11).

The time for fire is now. If we are going to accomplish the great commision and change the world with the love of Jesus – WE MUST KNOW and BEHOLD HIM! And as we encounter God, there will be a baptism of the Holy Spirit and FIRE!

Fire only falls on the sacrifice. In the Old Testament, the people of God slaughtered animals in worship and the fire consumed them. In the New Testament, Jesus was the sacrificial Lamb and He says “Take up your cross and follow me!” .  Today, we follow Jesus and say WE ARE THE BURNT OFFERING. In order for fire to come, a sacrifice of life must be made. So as a youth group, we climb up on the altar and cry out:

“WE LAY OUR LIVES DOWN FOR YOU, GOD! SET US ON FIRE!”

Today, you will hear testimonies of some of the young people who participated in an event called “The Send”.  Our prayer is that everyone in the church says YES to an encounter with the Holy Spirit, because THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. The new era of evangelism and missions has begun. Get ready!
